Founder Story

From Local Challenges to Continental Impact

Abdisa’s journey began with a simple observation:

Millions of Africans were excluded from the digital world because their languages were underrepresented in technology.

While global technologies continued to expand, many local languages lacked digital resources, online visibility, language datasets, and localization support.

Recognizing this challenge, Abdisa dedicated his career to ensuring that African languages become active participants in the digital economy.

Through volunteer leadership, technology innovation, community mobilization, and strategic partnerships, he has helped advance language technology initiatives that support millions of native speakers.

This mission eventually evolved into broader efforts involving entrepreneurship, software development, digital transformation, capacity building, and innovation leadership.

Today, Abdisa continues working toward a future where technology empowers every community regardless of language, geography, or economic background.
